Pathways to Empowerment: Researching Holistic Well-Being in Black Communities
The "Pathways to Empowerment" project at BMYI focuses on advancing the understanding of holistic well-being among Black men and youth. Our research explores the effectiveness of Social-Emotional Learning, Trauma-Informed Care, and Leadership and Life Skills Development in fostering resilience, emotional health, and community leadership. Through rigorous studies, we aim to provide valuable insights that support the development of programs and policies designed to empower Black communities and promote sustained well-being. This research not only contributes to academic knowledge but also serves as a foundation for practical, impactful interventions that make a real difference in the lives of our participants.
